Philosophy
Children learn through play and need to develop at their own pace.
The Child Care Centre’s role is to create positive growth opportunities by providing activities and materials, which are intellectually stimulating, creatively rewarding, socially satisfying, physically challenging and most important, fun!
We believe in children and all that they can be.
Program Information
Children can choose freely among non-structured manipulative toys, building materials; paint, scissors, paper and paste; malleable materials such as clay, plasticine, sand; dress-up and dramatic play are also part of our programs.
Participation in art will be encouraged but not mandatory. Alternate activities will be provided to the children such as music, reading, play acting, or toys that promote desirable skills.
Children will be given more freedom to express their creativity by mixing paint colors should they so wish.
